CONOR MCGREGOR will carry on boxing after his billion-dollar fight with Floyd Mayweather.
The news could concern to the MMA brand that has all its eggs in McGregor’s basket after the collapse of former golden girl Ronda Rousey.
There is already enough needle and backstory between McGregor and brief sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi to get the former world champion out of retirement to box the Irishman next.
Two-weight UFC king McGregor – who started his combat career at the Crumlin boxing gym – said: “I love the sport of boxing.
“Boxing has been dear to my heart my whole, entire life.
“I will compete in boxing bouts going forward, and I will contend in mixed martial arts bouts going forward.
“I will rule both with an iron fist, and that’s where my mind-set is.
