A KIND-HEARTED school boy asked his best friend’s little sister, who has Down’s Syndrome to be his date for his high school prom in a touching ‘promposal’, which has now gone viral.
Shaedon Wedel, 18, asked Carlie Wittman, 15, to go to his senior year prom with him on Friday and captured the moment on video.
The student showed up to the Carlie’s doorstep with flowers, the teen’s favourite snack Doritos and a T. shirt that read: “I know I’m NACHO your typical Dorito but… I’m going to be CHEESY and ask: will you go to prom with me?”
In the footage he asks Carlie, “Will you go to prom with me?”
Carlie can barely contain her excitement and excitedly says “Oh my gosh oh my gosh” as she covers her face with disbelief.
Shaedon then said: “Yeah? Is that a yes? Come here,” before giving her a big hug.
