TICKETS are now on sale for a cha-cha-charity fundraiser in support of St Andrew’s Hospice where VIP guests will get the chance to have a photo with a certain famous glitterball trophy.

Local couples are currently practicing under tutors Keith and Judy Clifton to perform for your votes at the Strictly Get Dancing final on Saturday, May 13.

It is the second year the hospice has held the event, with the 2016 spectacular raising more than £15,000 to provide care for people with life-limiting illnesses.

Speaking after the launch of the glamorous event, Keith Clifton said he was looking forward to seeing which couple would prove hottest on the dancefloor.

He said: “We do it for the hospice. Last year, we raised an awful lot of cash and we are happy to give it another go this year.

“We have got some interesting couples participating and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

“Grimsby is the centre of the universe in terms of dancing and there is huge interest in the show locally. The kids get a lot of support from the area.”
