A teenager has died after being hit by a train while allegedly posing for photos on the tracks.
Fredzania Thompson was struck on the track in Texas as she started her modelling career, The Sun reports.
Haunting snaps show the 19-year-old beaming at the camera in a black outfit and high heels with her right foot resting on the track before she was hit by the train.
Fredzania, who was engaged, was apparently pregnant at the time of her death on Friday.
Her devastated fiance Darnell Chatman told The Eagle newspaper that she had called him two weeks ago to break the news.
He said: “She said ‘you’re going to be a dad again’.”
The tragic teen was standing between two sets of tracks belonging to BNSF and Union Pacific, before she was killed, officials say.
She was reportedly watching a train approach on the BNSF track unaware a Union Pacific vehicle was heading towards her.
The desperate teen tried to avoid the train and cross the tracks, but was hit by the other vehicle, according to witnesses.
She was rushed to a local hospital but sadly died before she arrived.
Fredzania, who had apparently put her education on hold to pursue her modelling dreams, leaves behind Darnell and her devastated family, including her mum, Hakamie Stevenson, and five younger brothers and sisters.
Tributes have been flooding in for the “caring” teenager and talented athlete.
A post on a GoFundMe page, set up to raise money for her funeral, pays tribute to a “truly good person” who loved volleyball.
The chilling pictures of Fredzania on the train tracks were apparently captured by a “friend of a friend” who was not hurt in the tragedy.
