THIBAUT COURTOIS was ruled out against Manchester United after injuring himself during a promo shoot for the NBA.
It was originally thought that the Belgian goalkeeper suffered the ankle problem during training, but according to Sky Sources that’s not the case.
The Chelsea shot-stopper has been a key member of the side that has dominated the Premier League this season as they sit at the top of the table.

Blues boss Antonio Conte said before today’s kick-off: “Last week he had an injury in his ankle.
“He didn’t recover for this game.
“It’s not important how he got injured, the bad news is that Courtois got injured.
“He needs to recover as soon as possible.”
When asked how long the 24-year-old would be out for, the former Juventus manager said: “‘I hope only this game.”
