Boris Johnson and Keanu Reeves, Theresa May and Kim Cattrall… you wouldn’t believe share the same number of candles on a birthday cake
THERE’S only a few months in age between them, but Hollywood actresses Sharon Stone and Bo Derek looked years apart at a charity function this week.
It wasn’t just the plunging necklines and black dresses sported by Stone, 59 and Derek, 60, that amazed the crowd.
Yet while Sharon Stone oozed sex appeal, Bo looked every part the sexagenarian.
But they aren’t the only celebs to look worlds apart at the same age. Here we take a look at other stars who you wouldn’t believe share the same number of candles on a birthday cake.
HOLLYWOOD beauty Gwyneth Paltrow, left, seems to have consciously uncoupled from wrinkles as well as from hubby Chris Martin. She also has the grace of a gazelle, while lofty Miranda Hart, right, has been compared to a “big giraffe”. Fortunately, the sitcom star sees the funny side . . . usually. Clearly Gwynnie has a sense of humour too – how else do you explain her loopy Goopy food fads?
SIXTIES pin-up and workout queen Jane Fonda, left, appears years younger than Sherlock’s Una Stubbs, right, but she admits that plastic surgery has “bought her a decade” in terms of looks.
BOURNE action movie actor Matt Damon, left, is the same age as Good-time Drinking funnyman Johnny Vegas, right. Shows what happens if you dump the pints and get into press-ups.
HARD to believe that burly politician Boris Johnson, left, is the same age as Matrix hero Keanu Reeves, right. One has barely a hair out of place while the other’s hair is all over the place.
HEALTH nut Gillian McKeith, right, reckons You Are What You Eat – in which case she’d be far tastier after tucking into some of Domestic Goddess Nigella Lawson’s, left, creamy recipes.

PM Theresa May, left, is not wearing as well as actress Kim Cattrall, right, though both were born in 1956 – clearly Brexit and the City is far more ageing than Sex And The City.
DONNY Osmond, left, has retained the youthful looks that made him a Seventies pin-up. Portly comedian Stephen Fry, right, on the other hand, is more puppy fat than Puppy Love.
BOTH of these acclaimed actors were born in 1936, but while Hollywood hunk Robert Redford, right, has kept his movie star looks bearded thesp Brian, left, has not been so, er, Blessed.
THE odd grey hair is sexy on ex-Bond Pierce Brosnan, left, who’s swapped his licence to kill for a bus pass. But Hulk Hogan, right, needs to wrestle his ’tache into submission.
